North International High School Diploma
North International High School offers
a four-year program. Students who successfully complete the program requirements
receive an honorary diploma, in addition to their official diploma from North
Eugene High School. To earn the NIHS honorary diploma, students must complete
grades eleven and twelve in North International High School, complete two
years of world language study, and meet district requirements for the high
school diploma.

College-Preparatory Plan
The North International
High School staff and our school counselor advise students about course work
that must be completed to meet four-year college and university entrance
requirements. The NIHS program enables students to take the four years of
language arts, four years of social studies, three years of international
language, three years of mathematics, and three years of science that most
colleges and universities expect.
Requirements for graduation:
• NIHS courses for grades nine through twelve
• Three years of mathematics
• Three years of laboratory science
• Three or more years of the same world language
International Baccalaureate

North juniors and seniors interested in earning an IB diploma or certificates

Japanese
Medallion
Students who successfully complete the Japanese Immersion requirements
while they are enrolled in North International School qualify for earning
the Japanese Medallion.
