The purpose of the network is to help clubs with outreach programs. Last year the club did several outreach events including one during the summer. In our club meetings, we have learned about doing outreach as well as how to use telescopes, and astronomy in general. The outreach kits the club has so far are about planets around other stars, galaxies, and black holes. We are second in the nation for putting on events.

The North Eugene GSA will participate in this day. Individuals who want to take a vow of silence may see Kelly McGhehey for the laminated piece of paper they can wear throughout the day to explain their silence.

We also participate in the RiverWalk/Run. This is a fundraiser sponsored by HIV Alliance in order to fund their educational and support services. How to Get Involved

For information on any club, call the Main Office at 687-3261.

Don't see one you're interested in and want to start your own club?
It's easy...contact your principal to find out how. If you have a good idea, an adult who is willing to be an advisor, and can prove you've got other students interested, NEHS will fund your club start up!
