What is Site Council?
The 4 Site Councils at North guide professional development and learning for staff, monitor and evaluate school-improvement progress, and discuss issues that affect the quality of life and learning at North.
The Site Councils at North Eugene are decision-making bodies that help shape North's future. 4J guidelines for membership require that Site Councils include individuals from various stakeholder groups: students, parents, principals, teachers, and classified staff.
The four Site Councils are:
• Campus Site Council
• School of IDEAS Site
Council
• North IHS Site Council
• Academy of Arts Site Council
Attendance
All meetings are open and anyone in the community is welcome to attend as a visitor at any time. However we ask that all regular members make a commitment to attend every meeting unless there are extenuating circumstances. Staff members who cannot attend should find a replacement to attend in their place.
How to Reach Us
If you would like more information, or if you can't make it to a Site Council meeting and would like to have your opinion presented at the meeting by a Site Council member call the main office at 687-3261.
