NEHS Athletics Director
The director of Athletics programs at NEHS is Corey Nicholson.
Eligibility
Before students are allowed to participate in the athletic program, they must meet both state and school eligibility requirements and have a physical examination every two years.
Student athletes and cheerleaders at North must meet the Oregon School Activities Association eligibility standards as well as an individual standard set by NEHS in order to compete in athletics during the school year.
These standards include but are not limited to:
• enrolled in and passing 1.5 credits during your sport
• successfully completed 2.5 credits the semester prior to your sport.

Registration Dates
Registration dates & times for 2010-2011 seasons are as follows:
• Winter Sports – November 10, 7:30am-2:30pm,
• Spring Sports – February 23, 7:30am-2:30pm.
In order to register students must have a current physical (less than two years ago), an insurance form and an athletic training rules form.
Fees
Participation Fee Per Sport $150 (OSAA sports, fees for other activities may vary)
Cheerleading Fee $50
Maximum Fee Per Athlete $300
Maximum Fee per Family $600
