One of the first things you'll see is our main display case.

If you're a visitor, please be sure to check in at the front office. It's just
to the right as you enter the school through the main entrance. |
Directly across the hall is the Family & Consumer Studies Department. You'll
find cooking, childcare, and nutrition classes. Click here to find out more about

Down the hall to the right is the NEHS Health Center. Click here to find out

If you go straight ahead from the main entrance you'll find yourself in the Main
Hall.

All students learn about Highlander Pride. It is what helps us create and maintain
a respectful, supportive, friendly learning environment at NEHS.

Continue on down the Main Hall and you'll find the Math Lab on the left. Whenever
students aren't in class, you're likely to find them here using the computers. |
Just a little farther down, on the right, is the school Library. The librarian
maintains an extensive website with links to pertinent information requested
by teaching staff.

NEHS has a very well equipped wood shop. Students make everything from chessboards
to small sheds which are available for sale.

NEHS also boasts one of the last remaining high school metal shops in the area.
NEMCO is another one of the NEHS student-run businesses.
