Dance Team Showcase
This is a formal invitation for you to attend the North Eugene Dance Team Showcase on Saturday, October 7th in the NEHS Gym. The show starts at noon along with a silent auction and bake sale. Our Facebook, Instagram, and website have more information regarding the team and our upcoming events, which you can like/follow for updates.
The kids greatly appreciate your support and hope you can come to our show, where we will perform most of our routines we have this season. We also compete statewide and locally and would love to see familiar faces in the stands if you have the time and interest. It is a pleasure to support our athletic teams by performing for their games and we would love to have support for our events/competitions as well. We perform at every home football halftime, as well as assemblies, boys and girls basketball games, and other events.
Come check out our show!

Rubicon’s Trash to Treasure Program
With holiday (waste) season just around the corner, I wanted to make you aware of a super rad opportunity from Rubicon’s Trash to Treasure program to collect candy wrappers and keep them out of the waste stream.
Here is the website for more info and to order your free box: https://www.rubicon.com/trash-or-treasure/
Below is an overview of the program.
Rubicon’s mission is to end waste. We started Trash or Treasure™ in 2019 with this goal in mind, sharing our passion for sustainability with each candy wrapper collection box delivery. Ahead of each holiday campaign, participating schools, independent businesses, and community organizations can order a free Trash or Treasure™ box, enabling students, customers, and community members to recycle candy wrappers instead of throwing them in the trash.
The boxes are shipped using the UPS Carbon Neutral Shipment program to ensure we keep the Trash or Treasure™ carbon footprint low. Each box is filled up with candy wrappers (and only candy wrappers, please!), taped shut, and mailed back to our recycling processor using a pre-affixed label. Participants receive a Certificate of Recycling, confirming how much would-be waste they divert from landfill.
Participants also benefit from a range of educational resources such as lesson plans, videos, and webinars, created in collaboration with the National Wildlife Federation. Schools qualify for a free Trash or Treasure™ box to do your part to recycle Halloween candy wrappers and contribute to the circular economy!
